DOSAGE:

Administered as a liquid solution in prefilled, single-use pens, Novazempic is given through subcutaneous injection. After receiving instructions from a healthcare professional, you can self-inject at home.

Inject Novazempic under the skin of your abdomen, upper thigh, or the back of your upper arm. If you also self-inject insulin for type 2 diabetes, you can inject both medications in the same general area, but not the same spot to avoid skin irritation. Never mix insulin and Novazempic in the same injection.

Inject Novazempic on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without food.
